We did it!

Congratulations to everyone who made this possible! It's this kind of spirit that makes me want to shed a tear of joy.
For those looking for the weather forecast plasmoid (that's the official name of it), it's now in extragear for the KDE 4.2 post-release so distros can now package it.
My plan is to move this to kdeplasma-addons for KDE 4.3 in a few months. We have some features planned that will be really nice
Suggestion to source-data for a weather applet
A great free source for weather data is found on this page and I believe it should be quite easy for a programmer to use this source.
http://www.yr.no/english/1.2025949
Yr.no says;
"yr.no offers weather forecasts in English (in additon to Norwegian Nynorsk and Norwegian Bokmål) for more than 700,000 places in Norway and 6.3 million places worldwide."
This means that you could get a weather-forcast for almost every little place in the world and not just the main cities in each country.
I got it to work in my KDE
I got it to work in my KDE trunk ! Thanks
Where in extragear
Hello,
Where is the weather forecast plasmoid in extragear ? I was not able to find it and I miss it
Re: Where in extragear
Its a tarball for extragear only. Due to me missing KDE 4.2, it wasn't able to go into kdeplasma-addons before. So I had the KDE extragear team package it as a one-off release for KDE 4.2. You can find the source in ftp.kde.org under the extragear directory. For KDE 4.3+, it will reside in kdeplasma-addons so there won't be a problem finding it.
